Overview

The Bachelors of Nursing (International) Program aims at preparing nursing students currently holding Diplomas to upgrade their skills in order attain a Bachelor’s Degree and work globally. This top-up degree program is designed to ensure that students attain the academic credit to work in a variety of clinical settings. Through it’s English for Academic Purposes Program, St. Angela’s College makes a top-up Bachelor’s in Nursing (International) more approachable for students who do not meet the minimum English Language Requirements.

INSCOL Foundation Program

The objective of this 4-6 weeks foundation course is to enhance the Academic Study, IT & soft Skills. The Academic Study module emphasizes on writing skills, reflective skills & assignment making. Study at St. Angela’s College

  • Applicants must have completed a Diploma in nursing and should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council.
  • For Bachelor’s of Nursing: Applicants with an overall Academic IELTS score (or equivalent) of 6.5 will be accepted onto the program. Students applying for Bachelor of Nursing (International) after EAP who do not attain an IELTS of 6.5 must defer the intake.
  • For English for Academic Purposes Program: IELTS requirements of minimum 5.5 bands overall with no component less than 5.0 bands
  • Completed application form which includes a personal statement of no more than 300 words which explains how this program will help them achieve their future academic/vocational objectives

The Bachelors in Nursing (International) is designed to enable nurses to work in a variety of settings. Graduates from this course are able to find employment in vital healthcare related positions such as healthcare practitioner, care home management, academic career etc.

  • The completion of this course only provides a pathway but does not lead to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). To become a registered nurse in Ireland, you need to fulfill all NMBI requirements. Please refer to NMBI website for further details.
  • The tuition fee is payable in installments.
