Dr.Emmy Grewal, completed her MBBS from CMC Ludhiana and received the "Best Graduate Award" based on distinction/medal in the subject of Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Pathology and Surgery & top position in 1st and 2nd MBBS Professional Exams of Punjab University.

She completed MD (Internal Medicine) from CMC Ludhiana in 2003 and joined as a faculty in Internal Medicine. Later, she joined SGPGI Lucknow for a year when she was selected for DM Endocrinology at AIIMS, New Delhi. She was awarded Prof MMS Ahuja Award for the "Best DM Student in Endocrinology". She has many research publications to her name in various national and international journals of repute and has been honored with A V Seth award, 2009 and A V Gandhi award for best research in Endocrinology, 2009-2010. She is a Life member of the Endocrine Society of India, Indian Thyroid Society and Indian Society of Bone Mineral Research
