Chandigarh, October 11 - Prof. Barbara Green – International Coordinator, Deakin University, Melbourne Australia, visited INSCOL Academy, Chandigarh to interact with the prospective Nurse Students from Punjab, India and to introduce the BSc Nursing Top-Up (1 year) leading to RN Registration in Australia. The program will have two intakes in a year i.e. March/July and will lead to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) at the end of the program. Additionally, the Nursing Program also comprises of Clinical Placements in Australia’s leading hospitals; enhancing the overall learning of the students. The Deakin University’s School of Nursing and Midwifery will prepare students for practice within a range of healthcare settings and equip them with evidence-based knowledge & skills to adequately care for patients with a variety of complex illnesses. The seminar was very interactive and was well received by a total of 35 Nurse Students.
