India, December 2014 – Yet another milestone in INSCOL’s progress & quest to become the world leader in post basic nursing education and to offer pathways for nurses to become Global Nurses!
INSCOL Academy signed an exclusive academic collaboration agreement with Waiariki Institute of Technology, New Zealand, on 13th December 2014, for two new healthcare programs - Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation and Graduate Diploma in Health Studies. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Ms. Margaret Noble, Chief Executive, Waiariki Institute of Nursing, New Zealand and Mr. Daljit Singh Gujral, MD, INSCOL Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
This partnership brings one of the top-ranked University in NZ to work in collaboration with INSCOL Academy, India, to offer specialization programs for Diploma/BSc nurses. The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate the completion of Waiariki qualifications by INSCOL students. Students will complete the one-year program in two phases. They will undertake 3 months Introduction to Health Studies at INSCOL, and upon completion, be able to complete the Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation or Graduate Diploma in Health Studies at Waiariki.
The main aim of these programs is to provide students with advanced knowledge of the healthcare sector and the health profession in New Zealand. These qualifications will provide opportunities for the students to explore the context of the health experiences of the individual, family and communities.
The programs will begin in Feb 2015 and will offer scholarships from INSCOL Academy, India.
