Dr R. Muralidharan, former Associate Professor, Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER, Chandigarh got his M.D. (Medicine) in 1988 and D.M. (Endocrinology) in 1990, from the same Institute.

He has 14 years of concurrent experience in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, after post graduation, of which 11 years were as a faculty member. His special areas of expertise include management of difficult cases of diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pediatric endocrinology and reproductive endocrinology.

He has 34 research publications and contributed 4 chapters in books. He is a professional member of American Diabetes Association and active life member of Endocrine Society of India and Association of Physcians of India.
