  • It helps to be socially perceptive. As a home health aide, you are required to be aware of others’ reactions to particular situations. Being socially perceptive will help you understand why they behave in a particular way.
  • Being a good instructor helps you teach others how to accomplish certain tasks.You should also be able to speak and convey information effectively.

Also, be aware of the customer and the personal services protocols and principles. There will be a need to assess the customer’s needs, to meet the quality standards for services, and also to evaluate customer satisfaction.
